Visually Speaking…

In any given class there are three types of learners; tactile, auditory and visual. A good teacher will not create a lesson tailored to one learner because the other two types may not comprehend all of the information presented. It is that good teacher that will find a way to incorporate all three styles of those learners into one lesson. Visual tools are wonderful as long as you have the time to create them. Class Tools does the hard work for you!

Class Tools is a website that is full of ready-to-use graphic organizers and games. There are 19 activities to choose from that work well on the interactive white board. All you do is enter the information and your activity is ready to go. One of the best features is when you roll over the activity name you can see what it will look like, instead of clicking on it and then clicking back to go to the home page. The site is free but there is an option to upgrade that will gives you features such as no google ads, personal area, print the template and full screen mode. Video tutorials are available to help you navigate through the site as well as sample activities. *quick tip: you will need to click the back button on your browser to return to the home page**
