The SMART center

It’s small group time. All teachers have your own methods that work great. Students are split into groups where they are
responsible for completing a specific activity. Why not make the SMART board a center? In the Lesson Activity Toolkit
2.0 there are 18 self checking pages. Choose one, drag it to a blank page and click on the edit button, insert your information, click OK and it’s ready to go.
The file is open and the students head to the center. They click start and begin to work. All of the pages have various ways to check if their work is correct. The students may see a green check, score a point or a sign that tells the learner they did a great job. When one group is done, simply hit reset on the page to get it ready for the next group to move through
the center. The Koosh ball is a rubber ball filled with a jelly-like plasma and covered in soft, rubber spikes. This ball is often used for the student who can’t sit still and may need something to fiddle during the day. Now it has another use popping
balloons! Using the interactive balloons Time would decide how many pages could be included in the file, but three-five would be ideal for most grades.
