Avatars in School

Avatars are the latest rage. Most social networking sites allow you to create one. Children, as well as adults, have a great time creating them. Why not take the momentum the students have and use them in the classroom?

On Clay Yourself, you will create a head-shot of yourself. You will select various facial features and have the ability to change the color, size and placement. Once the required sections are complete, you can also add accessories such as hats, jewelry and body markings.

What can you do with it? Download the image and insert it into a file such as Word, Powerpoint, or Publisher – to name a few. With this image, the possibilities are endless:

  • You are a news reporter telling about a specific place or location
  • Upcoming events in the school/classroom
  • Future goals
  • Dream job-perfect career for them
  • Running for leadership positions
  • Promote a new company/hobby/sport/activity
  • Postcard-discuss recent trip to location studying in the classroom
