Read Across America
Dr. Seuss has brought us so many wonderful stories filled with creativity, imagination and many new words. Across many schools, teachers are planning ways to celebrate this day. With so many ideas, what can you do?
- Bring several Dr. Seuss books into your classroom and graph set words from each story (great for upper elementary) How many times was “Pop” used in Hop on Pop. This can also lead questions about the graph for an added bonus.
